Ingredients

• 2 1/4 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup soft butter
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 1 (12 ounce) package chocolate chips
• 1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

• 1 In a large mixing bowl combine the butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla; beat till creamy.
• 2 Add eggs.
• 3 Add the flour, soda, and salt; mix well.
• 4 Add the chips and nuts.
• 5 Drop on ungreased sheet.
• 6 375 degree oven for 9-11 minutes.
