Hearty Hamburger Soup

Ingredients

• 1 lb ground beef
• 4 cups water
• 1 (14 ounce) can diced tomatoes
• 3 medium carrots, pared and sliced
• 2 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
• 1 medium onion, chopped
• 1/2 cup celery, chopped
• 4 beef bouillon cubes
• 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
• 1/4 teaspoon pepper
• 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
• 1 cup frozen cut green beans

Directions

• 1 In a large saucepan, cook ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.
• 2 Add the remaining ingredients EXCEPT the green beans; bring to a boil.
• 3 Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes or just until the potatoes and carrots are tender.
• 4 Add the green beans.
• 5 Cover and simmer 15 more minutes or until the beans are tender.
