Pesto Tuna Melts

Ingredients
- 4 slices Italian bread, cut 1-inch thick
- 1/2 cup pesto sauce
- 2 medium tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 (6 ounce) canned tuna, drained
- 4 slices mozzarella cheese, cut diagonally in half
- fresh ground pepper
Directions
- 1 Set oven to broil.
- 2 Place the bread on a cookies sheet.
- 3 Broil with tops about 4 inches from heat until golden brown; turn and broil again until golden brown.
- 4 Spread bread slices with pesto.
- 5 Top with tomato slices, tuna and cheese slices.
- 6 Broil about 1 minute or just until cheese starts to melt.
- 7 Sprinkle with pepper.
