Low Carb Cheesy Broccoli Chowder

Ingredients
- 3 (14 ounce) cans chicken broth
- 1 bunch fresh broccoli
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup cooked cubed ham
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 cups swiss cheese, shredded
Directions
- 1 Clean broccoli and cut into bite-size pieces.
- 2 Place in 4-quart pan with chicken broth.
- 3 Bring to a boil.
- 4 Reduce heat and cook another 5 to 7 minutes.
- 5 Add cream, ham, salt, pepper, cheese and butter.
- 6 Simmer for 10 minutes, adding 1/2 to 1 cup water if it seems too thick.
