Country Style Fried Skillet Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup Crisco shortening
  • 5 large potatoes (cooked, peeled or unpeeled, cubed into about 1/2-inch or larger)
  • seasoning salt (or use white salt)
  • black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Directions

  • 1 In a large cast-iron skillet heat the shortening over medium-high heat.
  • 2 Add in the cubed potatoes and cook stirring until the potatoes are golden brown.
  • 3 Season with seasoned salt, black pepper, garlic and paprika.
  • 4 Serve hot.
  • 5 Delicious!
