No-cook Chocolate Mascarpone Cake

Ingredients

  • 8 italian almond cookies
  • 2 tablespoons orange liqueur
  • 7 ounces dark chocolate
  • 9 ounces mascarpone cheese

Directions

  • 1 Line a 4 cup loaf pan with clingfilm.
  • 2 Break and crumble the cookies.
  • 3 Mix with the orangeliqeur and let it soak.
  • 4 Melt the chocolate au bain marie (in a pan above a pan with simmering water).
  • 5 Let the chocolate slightly cool.
  • 6 Mix the chocolate with the mascarpone and the soaked cookies.
  • 7 Pour into prepared pan.
  • 8 Let it stiffen in the refridgerator for at least 2 hours.
  • 9 Slice (with a wet knife) and serve with lemonsauce or whipped cream or just eat it as it is.
