Beef and Cabbage Soup a La Shoneys

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 head cabbage
  • 2 celery ribs
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans
  • 1 (28 ounce) can tomatoes
  • 4 beef bouillon cubes
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  • 1 Dice the vegetables.
  • 2 Brown the ground beef.
  • 3 Drain.
  • 4 Add onion, celery, bell pepper and garlic.
  • 5 Cook until wilted.
  • 6 Add the diced cabbage.
  • 7 Add tomatoes juice and all.
  • 8 Add Worcestershire sauce.
  • 9 Add pepper.
  • 10 Add 2 cups water.
  • 11 add boullion cubes
  • 12 Add drained beans.
  • 13 Cook 30 minutes.
