Iced Green Tea With Ginger

Ingredients

  • 500 ml water
  • 1/2-1 cm fresh ginger
  • 3 teaspoons green tea leaves
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • ice
  • lemon balm leaves (optional)

Directions

  • 1 Measure water into a saucepan, add ginger and bring to boil.
  • 2 Add tea leaves; brew 1-3 minutes (or longer, depending on how strong you like your tea).
  • 3 Add sugar and lemon juice, strain tea.
  • 4 Allow to cool and add ice. Garnish with lemon balm leaves.
