Magic Apple Cake

Ingredients

• 1/4 cup Butter Flavor Crisco
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup vegetable oil
• 2 eggs
• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 cups peeled and chopped apples
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

• 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
• 2 Cream together butter and sugar.
• 3 Add oil and eggs, mix together well.
• 4 Stir baking powder, cinnamon, and salt into the flour; add to wet mixture.
• 5 Stir in apples and vanilla extract.
• 6 Pour into 9 inch square pan.
• 7 Sprinkle with sugar and/or cinnamon if desired.
• 8 Bake for 35-40 minutes.
