Butter Pecan Cream Cheese Cookies (Cake Mix)

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup softened butter or 1/4 cup margarine
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 egg
- 1/4 teaspoon maple flavoring or 1/4 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
- 1 (18 ounce) box butter pecan cake mix (2 layer)
Directions
- 1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- 2 Cream butter and cream cheese together.
- 3 Blend in egg and maple flavoring.
- 4 Add dry cake mix 1/3 at a time, mix well after each addition.
- 5 Chill for 30 minutes.
- 6 Drop by spoonful on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes or until just lightly browned.
